Music has been running through Mara Beier’s veins since the young age of 3 when she started begging her parents for a violin. She finally got one by the age of 6 and immediately displayed an innate gift for learning how to play. Her rapid skill progression with the violin lasted for 8 years until she was wonderfully stunned by her first Broadway musical, Les Miserables, and fell in love with the power of the human voice.  She began private voice lessons as a freshman in high school and loved it so much she simply never stopped. After graduating with honors from the renowned Berklee College of Music in Boston, she relocated to New York City where she is now based, performing, auditioning, and writing new music. A very versatile artist, Mara sings in many different genres ranging from soul, jazz, country, rock, and musical theater to classical, yet feels most at home performing soulful pop and R&B. She has performed alongside Grammy winning and nominated artists as both a lead and background vocalist.

Mara also works as a commercial print model and is currently represented by FFT/Funny Face Today in NYC.
